Paul Carr at the Ware Center

  

Saxophonist Paul Carr and the Fred Hughes Trio take you on journey of 100 years of amazing saxophone sounds. Carr, known for his hard-charging and soulful post-bop style, has been based in the D.C., area performing on the local scene since graduating from Howard University. Carr has received critical praise over the years from USA Today, the Washington Post, DownBeat and JazzTimes. With a strong commitment as an educator, Carr launched the Jazz Academy of Music dedicated to advancing and preserving jazz through education.

Ticket Information: This event is open to the public. Tickets cost $20 for general admission, $5 for students, $65 for a table of four. Tickets may be purchased online, at MUTicketsOnline.com, at the Student Memorial Center Ticket Office (Room 103, 21 S. George St., Millersville), at The Ware Center (42 N. Prince St., Lancaster) or by calling the Ticket Office at 717-872-3811. Ticket Offices are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
